As we know in today's world this is a highly contested point of view, but nonetheless, the Bible has never changed in thousand of years and the best way is for you to read the scriptures themselves, not man's opinion; Leviticus 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination" Leviticus 20:13 "If there's is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their blood guiltiness upon them". 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived; neither fornicator, not idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor reviles, nor swindlers, shall inherit the Kingdom of God".
Romans 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper". This act is clearly condemned in the word of God.
This whole issue denies God's original order of things when He made Adam and Eve, in this the mission was to fill and subdue the earth Genesis 1:28. As such being a homosexual can't perform that command. This whole act destroys the basis for a family, which God intended for us to procreate.this issue gets promoted by others who approve of it, by rebelling against God, and causes others to commit this sin and it continues to spread, bring heavy condemnation to those who participate and creates health issues to innocent men and women, who not knowing get the diseases that come thru this act.
It is not politically correct! Society appeals to what society thinks is right or wrong … where is the objective standard of morals that all people should follow? Societies have been wrong and they pass laws to protect their sexual behavior and have everyone accept it.
We as Christian aren't judging them, we are informing them. God has declared homosexuality is a sin, it isn't our preference we're declaring, it's God's. This isn't the only sin declares wrong is it? Follow the Lord and repent and be healed if you are a practicing Homosexual, receive God's forgiveness and be healed, in the same way and manner as any person who has sinned and needs forgiveness and JESUS wraps His arms around you and heals you and makes things clear, enjoy eternal life and don't be deceived by the enemy of God and walk in blindness. It costs you nothing, come to JESUS and let Him, himself move on your heart.
